AQA A-Level Sociology
Hello, my name is James and as of writing this I am currently in university studying BA Sociology and French. I took AQA A-Level Sociology in 2023 and got an A, so I thought that I would give you the notes I have that helped me get through two years of Sociology.
It's important to note that just because I have all of these studies in my notes, that I don't remember them all. I usually pick two or three for each section (eg. Differential Education by Social Class - Internal Factors - Cultural Deprivation: Sugarmann, and Bernstein). There are always some few key sociologists that you should remember in order to use them for item hooks, but you'll know who they are (eg. Durkheim and Althusser)
Here are the links to all of the units I've got notes for:
Education
Crime and Deviance
Media (not finished)
Here are the notes that I'm currently working on:
Family and Households
Theories and Methods (in context)
Below is a confidence topic tracker available to anyone (just copy and download). This has all the above units (excluding some theories and methods topics, such as sociological debates and policies). This is a great resource to check which topics and subtopics that you need to focus on:

I will also post exam style questions and answers with the marks and feedback.
If you have ANY questions, you can comment them on any of the posts - but for faster response time, don't hesitate to leave me a message on twitter - @JamesToonie
